Traded old set of Paris truck that were a prelude to my Surf-Rodz for the well-spoken Bears. So far, I like em, definitely beat Randals by a mile. And then the rest of my swag.

2 Rad Like Norad
V2 wasn’t the only one I was getting, and the story goes like this- 2011 Norad was in fact the VERY first longboard that caught my eye at Blades uptown store well over a year ago. At the time, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to get into longboarding, but the image of that Norad stuck in my head. I regretted not getting that guy as my first deck just to save about $50. Now, I’m finally catching up with my dream boards, thus I simply had to get this one as well.
It’s a smidge more narrow than the v2 and the graphic is much more simple, but I love how this one looks just as much.
Katekyo Hitman Reborn – Rokudo Mukuro Trident (Incomplete) (家庭教師ヒットマンREBORN!) (六道 骸)
So this was a free commission I sadly didn’t have time to complete at the time, since I only had 2 weeks to do it and my speed wasn’t up to par back in those days. Selling point here are the gimmicks I incorporated into the design and then its overall light weight (unlike next 2 props I’ve made, the Fuuraiken, and Patriot from Gintama). Rocking it this time is a good friend of a friend for whom I made this guy.
To elaborate- every piece here is removable and very secure at the same time when assembled together. Easy to transport, fix, upgrade, etc. (Also, I don’t quite recall where I found this particular pic from NYAF 2011, but full credit to respective photographer per the watermark on the bottom).
Well-worthy of a Note – NYC Street Invitational 2011
Just want to do a proper write-up of this past year’s, August marvel that happened right in Williamsburg neighborhood in Brooklyn, NY. So what was it exactly? Only a sick aggressive inline competition with a prize purse of $10,000 (split between 1-3rd places), right under the highway overpass, with home-made obstacles, and most importantly perfectly legal.
Heads from all across the states flew or drove in, including most of the pro’s of this scene and amazing tricks were landed throughout the whole day.
Aggressive skating today is the real spectacle of what soul sports are all about, so I encourage everyone to look this stuff up and see for yourselves. I’ll give a shout-out to One Magazine, for posting older issues up for grabs right on their site (click).
And my crappy, but footage of different parts of this event:
Merry Xmas 2011 Everyone!
Might as well say it now since I won’t have time later on (or I might forget ^ ^”). Hope everyone’s year was better than mine and that we all ride lady luck next year. So happy holidays, enjoy your vacation with your family, stay out of trouble!

And a nice little song to do with this post. Not really a Xmas song, but fit very well, so enjoy!

Guilty Gear – Ky Kiske – Fuuraiken Build (ギルティギア 風来剣)
Been putting this build off for way too long, and birthday + NYAF 2011 were the perfect motivators this time around. Build was quick, simple, not really planned ahead due to the time crunch I had to deal with- 3 days. The whole thing was planned as it was built and the final is fully modular to allow repairs or upgrades in the future. Made of PVC, ABS, and stainless steel, polycarbonate paint. Future thoughts- thin down the white blocks on the middle area, make a foam blade to actually make this spar-friendly as well as photo friendly.
