Figure I’d share this tiny, simple, yet extremely useful piece of shralpledge.
This is basically like lubing joints on a car or any other mechanism, but without messy oil.
First truck is stock, and once I flip it over, other truck has been “lubed.”
If the squeaks make you think there are some mice in your setup, simply take out the kingpin and scrape some soap shavings into the pivot cup, on top of bushing washers and bushings since they’ll be compressed against the hanger’s seats. Don’t forget your roadside half.
Result- a smidge smoother joints, but most importantly silent (or close to it, depending on the truck and bushing seats).
