Ibaraki – Part 3

Always down to visit my nakama, so I set off to the 2-hour-away-countryside once again.

To start things off, some Kona brew and food at a very cool Hawaiian styled restaurant.

Then off to some izakaya, similar to where we went in Ueno on my first night in Japan.

Family style soba restaurant next morning with my friend’s friend –

So the soy wasabi onion etc soba dip dilutes into a sorta soup with hot water from the red kettle. Very interesting and delicious!

Then we went off to play some Biohazard at Ko-san’s place. Cozy apartment he has, won’t lie. Now what blew my mind was a present he randomly just gave me before we had to leave-

A free freebord totally made my stay in Japan! Being a surfer, Ko-san didn’t quite feel this land snowboard, but for me its the complete opposite story, haha.

Then some random shopping and whatnot. Found a true buried treasure here –

Then off to have dinner at Bikkuri Donkey once again. Love that place!

And headed home the next morning. Once again, really fun trip to that neck of the woods.  ^ ^
